AluQuébec welcomes three new co-opted directors

14 September 2023

During AluQuébec's Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting on May 25, the organization's General Regulations were ratified to notably review the composition of the Board of Directors (BoD). The AluQuébec board is now made up of ten directors elected at the general meeting, as well as three co-opted by the board, for a total of thirteen directors.

After a presentation of the profiles of potential candidates and on a recommendation from the governance committee and approval by the Board of Directors, AluQuébec welcomes three new co-opted directors, all graduates of the Certified Company Directors (ASC) training course:

  • Manon Goudreault: President and founder of dada agency – strategic and creative communication;
  • Luc Séguin, Eng., ASC: Director of strategic projects at ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada;
  • Marie-France Veilleux, L.L.L. Asc, C.Dir. : Director of sustainable investment and SME governance at Desjardins Capital.

These three designated directors, that is to say appointed by the Board of Directors, bring particular expertise to the board, and join the ten directors who were elected at the last general meeting:
